Kenneth A. Sarka, Sr.

Kenneth “Ken” Sarka, Sr. 86, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Born May 19, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Arthur and Reba (Reed) Sarka. A 1950 graduate of Waite High School, he then served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Kay Rollman Potrzebowski on April 22, 1981. Ken was employed by Norfolk & Western Railroad for 41 years, retiring in 1991. He loved all sports, in particular, bowling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kay; children, Kenneth (Wendy Boone) Sarka, Jr., Mark (Stephanie) Sarka, Becky Mincheff, Jim, Tom, Joe and John (Jennifer) Potrzebowski; brothers, Clayton, Leslie, David Sarka; sister, Charlotte Lindell, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur, Ronald, Robert, Gerald; sisters, JoAnne, Persis, Juanita, and Vivian.
